Being mindful is about being fully present, not just for yourself but for others, too. When you’re mindful, you’re able to be more compassionate. You can notice what’s going on around you, and then make choices that are in your best interest and the best interest of others.
Join me in a time to meditate together and explore mindfulness exercises and experiences to brighten your journey. You can see what the practice and classes look like, ask questions, or just meet Sarah. These informal sessions are usually held online at 1pm PST on the third Sunday of each month (excluding April and December).
Mindfulness classes are designed specifically for those who want to learn how to be mindful in their everyday lives. You will learn to develop your own mindfulness practices that can improve your life by helping you become more self-aware, gain clarity around issues that may be causing you stress, improve your relationships, and more. You’ll also be able to share your experiences and ask questions about what you’re learning, which can help you get more out of your practice.
Classes are generally 4 weeks in length, with a one-hour class session every week. Each four-week class is $400 per person.
Mindfulness as a Tool in Dealing with Stress
Learn how to observe thoughts, feelings, and situations without criticism or fear so that you can understand the transience of stress, disappointment, and frustration and deal with them effectively.
Mindfulness and Change
Use mindfulness to build emotional, mental, and physical resilience in a world that seems like it is constantly changing. Learn to shift your attitude about the unexpected.
Finding Peace in a Chaotic World
Based on the work of Mark Williams & Danny Penman, this class teaches a series of practices that can help you overcome stress, anxiety, and fatigue by building joy, courage, and flexibility.
Cultivating Compassion
Find your way to a place of compassion for yourself, for others, and for the world around you. When you accept nothing in life is perfect, you gain a perspective that allows you to face negative events calmly and without judgement.
Cultivating Joy
Joy can be an intentional practice. In this class, you will learn how to reorient yourself so that you can discover and live within a place of mindful wholeheartedness.
